DAY 1 ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE
Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport with a representative from Wilderness Trips who will warmly welcome you to Uganda “the pearl of Africa”. You will then be transferred to your Hotel.

DAY 2 FLY TO KASESE AIRSTRIP
After breakfast from your hotel this morning you will be transferred to the airport to get a flight to Kasese airstrip. At Kssese airstrip our representative will be waiting to pick you for transfer to your lodge.

DAY 3 CHIMP TREK IN KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK AND BIGODI SWAMP COMMUNITY WALK.
After breakfast you will go for Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest. During the trekking you will spot other primates like the white colobus monkeys, animals like the forest Elephants just to mention but a few. Return to the lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon you can have an optional visit to Bigodi wetland which is well known for various bird species

DAY 4 FLY TO KIHIHI OR KISORO
After breakfast from your lodge you will fly to Kihihi or Kisoro.

DAY 5 GORILLA TREKKING OR GORILLA HABITUATION IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK, UGANDA
Either gorilla trekking
After an early breakfast with your packed lunch, your guide will drive you the start of the tracking point or park head quarters from where the head game ranger will brief you at 8:00 am. You will be led through the gorilla paths in the thick Bwindi Impenetrable rain forests searching for the giant mountain Gorillas. In the company of an armed game ranger to scare away any unfriendly wild animals by shooting in the air but also you will have the un armed rangers who will pave for the way leading you to where the gorillas are for that day. Potters who help you carry any luggage such as packed lunch, water and any other items such as cameras are available at only 20$. In case one fails to take on the trek of the steep mountains these potters do the pushing as well and when you totally a stretcher shall be called in but at a fee 300$.
Once tracked, you shall be given 1 hour to view and interact with these beautiful primates plus taking photographs.
After this trek you will trek back to the starting point and find your guide who will drive you to your lodge for relaxation dinner and overnight

Gorilla habituation in Bwindi impenetrable national park,Uganda
Rise up early for an early morning breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for briefing. With your parked lunch you will start your adventure trek into the thick forest of Bwindi impenetrable national park in search of the mountain gorillas. The gorilla habituation experience lasts at least four hours with the gorilla family. You will have also an opportunity to listen and observe researchers doing their work of habituating the gorillas. Some times you may participate in some of their activities like naming the gorillas, collecting samples and much more. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6 OPTIONAL SECOND GORILLA TREK OR BATWA COMMUNITY TOUR
Incase your looking at spending more time with the gentle giants in the forest of Bwindi you can opt to go for a second gorilla trek or take on either gorilla activity you didn’t do yesterday. Alternatively you can also take park in community activities to enable you understand more about the Batwa who once lived in Bwindi impenetrable rain forest before it was gazzetted.

DAY 7 FLY TO ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND CONNECT.
After breakfast you will board your flight back to Entebbe. You will use the morning flight that leaves Kihihi at 10:55hrs and reaches Entebbe at 11:55hrs. At Entebbe our representative will receive you. Depending on your itinerary you have an option of a day room in Entebbe or another night.
